Myth Busting Truths about Pimple Fallacies
Here are some fallacies regarding pimple occurrence that we have believed for a long time. See how each fallacy is busted and look at what you can do about each fallacy that you have thought and lived to be true.
We have always believed that eating greasy food can cause pimples to appear in our face. Also, we always thought that eating chocolate or any kind of nuts can induce the appearance of pimples. But those beliefs are not true, because what really can cause pimples to appear is the excessive intake of food that is high in iodine. So, what you should avoid are not those yummy chocolaty treats but simply sushi and shellfish.
If you think that washing your face as often as you can is enough to prevent pimples from sprouting then think again. Washing your face every time you get the chance is not sufficient to completely eliminate the occurrence of pimples. What you really need is to have an effective but non-toxic facial wash that you should religiously use as you wash away to pimple-free face.
A skin that has large pores is highly susceptible to pimples. Well, that is actually true but what is not true is that washing your face with ice-cold water minimizes the size of your pores which is the much wanted to avoid having pimples. The effect of washing with ice-cold water lasts only for a short time and is not a good preventive measure to take to avoid having pimples.
